Frequently asked Questions

How should I set up my bar tab?

We recommend having beer, cider and wine available on your tab and creating an open bar towards the end of the night. This will help avoid your event running dry early on. Our organisers are happy to talk through your bar set up before your booking.

How far in advance do we need to book?

If we have availability, we can run your event. We recommend booking a few weeks in advance so that we have staff and resources available, and you don't miss out.

How big does my party or event need to be to book an entertainment option?

Our range of games and entertainment options mean there’s something for groups of all sizes. If you’re worried your event is too small or too big for the option you want, we can talk you through games and activities that might be a better fit.

Can you organise live entertainment for my party?

Yes. We regularly work with DJs, live bands, comedians and MCs and can book live entertainment for your party. Whether you’ve got a band in mind or would like a suggestion, we can do the booking for you.

I don’t live in Wellington. Can I still book entertainment?

While we’re based in Wellington we operate nationwide and can run events in Palmerston North, Auckland and everywhere in between. Travel charges apply so larger bookings may be more cost-effective. Chat to our friendly staff about how we can bring WellyFun to your next party!
